UIS Drops 3-1 Match at McKendree

The Ãå±±½ûµØ Springfield volleyball team fell 3-1 to McKendree on Saturday afternoon in Lebanon, Ill., dropping to 6-8 overall and 0-4 in GLVC play.
"I am very proud of the resilience this group is showing through a tough couple of injury-ridden weeks." said Coach Ulrich. "They are still learning and growing and I'm grateful to work alongside side a group that works hard through adversity."

The UIS men's soccer team fell 3-2 to Missouri S&T in a thrilling Great Lakes Valley Conference matchup on Sunday afternoon at Kiwanis Stadium. The Prairie Stars drop to 2-6-2 overall and 1-5-1 in GLVC play, while the Miners improved to 5-3-1 overall and 3-3-0 in conference play.

UIS Women’s Golf Heads to Owensboro for Bill Crabtree Invitational

The UIS women's golf team will travel to Owensboro, Ky., to compete in the Bill Crabtree Invitational on Sunday, Oct. 5, and Monday, Oct. 6. The two-round event will be played at The Pearl Club and is hosted by Kentucky Wesleyan College.
UIS will face a competitive field that includes Young Harris, Maryville (Mo.), McKendree, Kentucky Wesleyan, Thomas More, and John A. Logan.
The Prairie Stars' lineup features Fizreen Ahmadfadzir, Yi-Ting Hsieh, Valentina Torrealba, Lia Rody, and Elaine Grant.
