Register for Trunk or Treat for Canned Goods

The Cox Children’s Center and the Volunteer and Civic Engagement Center are once again hosting Trunk or Treat for Canned Goods. Please sign up to participate in this year’s event which is being held on Friday, October 31, from 9:45 to 10:45 a.m. Setup can start earlier. This year's event will be held in Parking Lot B (Adjacent to WUIS and SLB). All donations directly benefit the UIS Cares Food Pantry located right here on our campus. Register your department, get creative, visit with the kids from the Cox Children’s Center in their costumes, and help support our UIS students. |

Prairie Stars in Contention After Day One at Bill Crabtree Invitational

The Ãå±±½ûµØ Springfield women's golf team is in strong position after the opening round of the Bill Crabtree Invitational, sitting in a tie for second place at +16 (304). The Prairie Stars are just two shots back of leader Maryville heading into Monday's final round at The Pearl Club.
UIS performed consistently across all scoring categories, tied for second in par-3 scoring (3.40), second in par-4 scoring (4.36), and second in par-5 scoring (5.00). As a team, the Prairie Stars totaled 10 birdies and 51 pars on the day.
