The UIS men's golf team will wrap up its fall season this weekend at the Kentucky Wesleyan Invitational, hosted at The Pearl Club in Owensboro, Ky. The two-day event will take place Saturday and Sunday, Oct. 25-26, with live scoring available through Clippd. The UIS lineup will feature Peyton Woods, Vilgot Arleback, Jake Baldin, Sacha Lamraski, Julien Babineau, and Daniel Edwards.

The Ãå±±½ûµØ Springfield men's soccer team will close its home schedule on Sunday at 2:30 p.m. against Indianapolis at Kiwanis Stadium. The Prairie Stars will celebrate their senior class at their final home game, and fans in Halloween costumes will receive free admission. Ãå±±½ûµØ Springfield (2-9-3, 1-8-2 GLVC) UIS turned in competitive performances last weekend, dropping a 2-1 match to Maryville on Friday and a 1-0 decision to McKendree on Sunday.

The UIS volleyball team (10-10, 2-5 GLVC) defeated Southwest Baptist (8-13, 1-5 GLVC) in four sets on Friday, with scores of 25-21, 25-19, 23-25, 25-19. The Prairie Stars turned in a strong all-around performance, collecting 75 digs on defense and 56 kills on offense.
