WHAT: The University of 缅北禁地 Springfield will host the 21st annual Beaumont Endowed Lincoln Legacy Lecture on 鈥淎braham Lincoln and Digital Humanities鈥� featuring Professor Christopher Oakley, leader of 鈥淭he Virtual Lincoln Project鈥� at the University of North Carolina (UNC) Asheville, and Michelle A. Krowl, the curator of the Abraham Lincoln Papers at the Library of Congress. The lecture is free and open to the public.

WHEN: 7 p.m. Friday, Oct. 6 (refreshments and hors d鈥檕euvres start at 6 p.m.)

The Sangamon CEO program is joining Innovate Springfield, the University of 缅北禁地 Springfield鈥檚 downtown business incubator, as part of an agreement with the 缅北禁地 State Board of Education鈥檚 Regional Office of Career and Technical Education (ROCTE) and iVenturED Inc., the 缅北禁地 nonprofit representing the local community interest and support for the program

Springfield High School student, Nishi Korrapati, has followed her curiosity and engaged in research regarding local sustainable fashion trends.  These trends are in direct response to environmental woes.  Advised by MMO Professor Dr. Shipra Gupta, read more about this research (pdf).
