UIS Commencement is at 2 p.m. Saturday, May 13, 2023, at the Bank of Springfield Center in downtown Springfield.
Commencement Participation Requirements
The following steps are required to participate in Commencement:

Planning is underway for the 2023 Commencement Ceremony! All critical graduation and Commencement information will arrive via your uis.edu email, so check your inbox frequently. You can also check the Commencement website for updates:
Students who are graduating but NOT participating in Commencement
Students graduating in Spring 2023 or Summer 2023 who have not already taken the steps outlined below should please do so by the posted deadlines.If you have any questions or concerns, please email registrar@uis.edu or call 217-206-7730.
Students graduating in Spring 2023 or Summer 2023 must submit an online Graduation Application via Student Self-Service ( - 鈥淕raduation鈥� tab) by the deadlines listed below:
Students graduating in Fall 2022 or Spring 2023 must submit an online Graduation Application via Student Self-Service ( - 鈥淕raduation鈥� tab) by October 3, 2022 (Fall 2022) or February 17, 2023 (Spring 2023). Students MUST be sure to verify that all curriculum information is listed accurately BEFORE submitting an online Graduation Application (including major, minor, concentration, etc.).
ATTENTION STUDENTS! APPLY NOW IF YOU WILL BE GRADUATING IN FALL 2022 OR SPRING 2023!
Students graduating in Summer 2022 or Fall 2022 must submit an online Graduation Application via Student Self-Service ( - 鈥淕raduation鈥� tab) by July 4, 2022 (Summer 2022) or October 3, 2022 (Fall 2022).聽Students MUST be sure to verify that all curriculum information is listed accurately BEFORE submitting an online Graduation Application (including major, minor, concentration, etc.).聽
A total of 1,129 students earned degrees from the聽University of 缅北禁地 Springfield聽at the conclusion of the spring semester on May 14, 2022, pending completion of university requirements.

Commencement day is almost here! Please read the following info to be fully informed.
Where:
Bank of Springfield Center in downtown Springfield.
When:
May 14, 12:30 and 5:30 p.m.
The ceremonies will be divided by college and will each last approximately 1.5 hours. You may only participate in the ceremony for your college.
