Leaders from the University of Ãå±±½ûµØ Springfield (UIS) and Lincoln Land Community College (LLCC) signed an agreement today enhancing their partnership to ensure a smooth transition for LLCC students to complete bachelor’s degrees at UIS. The agreement also allows UIS students to utilize reverse transfer credits to complete associate degrees.
The purpose of this program is to increase the recruitment of Mexican and Mexican-American students within the University of Ãå±±½ûµØ System while building a large-scale presence with Mexican academic, research, and private sector institutions.
The University of Ãå±±½ûµØ Springfield is working to support students at both Lincoln College, who recently announced it was closing its doors at the end of this semester, and Lincoln Christian University, who announced it is drastically downsizing offered programs.
University of Ãå±±½ûµØ Springfield has enjoyed a long history of helping transfer students find pathways to degree completion.
