2022 Assurance of Student Learning Day
Faculty! Join us for the 2022 Assurance of Student Learning Day. Speakers will be Dr. Stephanie Hedge at 9 a.m. presenting on 鈥淒eveloping Assessment Rubrics鈥� and Dr. Jorge Villegas at 10 a.m. presenting on 鈥淯sing assessment to continuously improve our curriculum.鈥�
The University of 缅北禁地 Springfield is making changes to its COVID-19 testing policy.
Starting April 11, employees, faculty, staff, and long-term guests who have not yet been fully vaccinated against COVID-19 will only have to test once per week.
Previously, they had to get tested twice per week.
Testing is optional for those who are up-to-date with their COVID-19 vaccine.
Changes are also being made to the hours of operation of the SHIELD saliva-based testing site.

Open Conversation with Luis Alfaro
UIS Theatre and the Luis Alfaro Residency Project (UIC), along with UIS鈥� 鈥淥ur Stage, Our Voices鈥� project, invite you to a special conversation with Associate Professor of Theatre Missy Thibodeaux-Thompson, 鈥淥ur Stage, Our Voices鈥� artist-in-residence Reggie Guyton, and Guest Artist, playwright Luis Alfaro (USC). They will share insights from their own experiences, and discuss the intersection of the arts, activism, community outreach, and creative collaboration.
Applications being accepted for the 2022-2024 OPEL Faculty Fellows Program
Applications are now being accepted for the 2022-2024 OPEL Faculty Fellows Program鈥�. The OPEL Faculty Fellows program builds upon the success of the COLRS Faculty Fellows Program by providing expanded research and service opportunities that align with the mission of OPEL.
DUNS Number will change to Unique Entity ID (UEI). Contracts, grant applications, and other external documents will begin requesting the UIS 鈥楿EI鈥� instead of the DUNS number, beginning April 4, 2022. UIS UEIs are available on the ORSP webpage:听/research/sponsored-programs/pre-award/rates-fa/.听Just like the DUNS number, there is a separate UEI for State of 缅北禁地 grants and contracts.
