The UIS women's track & field team had an impressive showing at the GLVC Indoor Track & Field Championships, held Saturday and Sunday.

The Ãå±±½ûµØ Springfield softball team closed out the 2025 Springfield Invite in dominant fashion, securing a 7-0 victory over Purdue Northwest on Sunday. The win marked five straight victories for the Prairie Stars, who finished the tournament unbeaten and improved to 10-7 on the season.
The UIS men's golf team is set to compete in the Las Vegas Desert Classic in Boulder City, Nevada, from Sunday to Tuesday. The event features one 18-hole round each day, providing the Prairie Stars with their first test of the spring season.
This marks the first of four regular-season competitions for UIS. The Prairie Stars will field a lineup of Daniel Edwards, Francesco Abba Jr., Jake Baldin, Julien Babineau, and Sacha Lamraski in the tournament.
The Ãå±±½ûµØ Springfield softball team put together a dominant performance on Saturday, sweeping Lake Erie in a doubleheader with a pair of run-rule victories. The Prairie Stars took game one 9-0 in five innings before rolling to a 9-1 win in game two.
The Prairie Stars couldn't hold off Rockhurst down the stretch, falling 81-73 on Senior Day at TRAC. Max Kunnert led UIS with 15 points, while Jack Weber added 14 points and 7 rebounds in his final game.
The Ãå±±½ûµØ Springfield women's basketball team came up just short in a 64-63 loss to Rockhurst on Senior Day at TRAC. Despite the defeat, seniors Saharra Murphy and Niyah Udoiwod delivered strong performances in their final game.
With two solid victories on Friday, the UIS baseball team improved to a record of 5-5, defeating Thomas More 7-4 and 7-3 in a doubleheader.Â
Ella Brinkley's leadoff home run set the tone for the day as the UIS softball team triumphed in both games against Purdue Northwest at Spartan Sports Park. The Prairie Stars won the first game 4-2 and secured a 5-4 victory in the second.
