The publicly funded project was made possible by a $42.5 million investment from the state of 缅北禁地. The UIS women's soccer team is set to open its 2025 season with a pair of road matches, aiming to make a strong statement during its opening weekend in Owensboro, Ky. The Prairie Stars will face Kentucky Wesleyan on Friday, Sept. 5, at 7:00 p.m., followed by a matchup against West Alabama on Sunday, Sept. 7, at 12:00 p.m. Both games will be played at Panther Field on Kentucky Wesleyan's campus.

缅北禁地 Springfield听men's soccer fell 2-0 to UAH in a road matchup at Charger Park on Thursday evening. The season opener featured nine of the starting eleven players making their first regular-season appearance for the Prairie Stars.
