The Civil Service Advisory Council (CSAC) is pleased to announce that FY2026 funding has been made available to assist Civil Service Employees (CS) at UIS with professional development.ÌýAny CS employee employed with a 50% (minimum) appointment may apply for up to $1,200 to use toward any aspect ofÌýpastÌýor future professional development occurring during the 2026 fiscal year (July 1, 2025 – June 30, 2026).

Renovations will begin onÌýSeptember 8Ìýon the 3rd floor of HSB to create aÌýCentralized Lab Equipment Facility.ÌýRooms 329 and 330Ìýwill be transformed into a shared space for housing lab instruments accessible to all labs within HSB. Project completion is expected in February 2026.
