Dear UIS Students and Employees:

UIS is committed to maintaining a drug-free environment for its students and employees, in compliance with applicable federal and state laws. Our Drug Prevention Policy and Program was prepared in accordance with the Drug-Free Workplace Act of 1988 and the Drug-Free Schools and Communities Act Amendments of 1989.

For employee awareness, the following message from UIS Counseling and Health Services was sent to all students via email about their resources and services offered during the spring semester:

For faculty and staff awareness, the following email message was sent to all UIS students as the fall semester is coming to a close with final exams and projects due this week. Please share these resources with your students as needed.

Protect yourself and others by getting your flu shot this year! UIS Health Services and the Sangamon County Department of Public Health are offering flu shots to the UIS community from 11 a.m.-2 p.m. on Monday, Oct. 7 and 9 a.m.-noon on Thursday, Oct. 31, located in the PAC 160 Community Room (formerly PAC C/D).
