Andrew Stokes, a 2022 University of 缅北禁地 Springfield master鈥檚 in environmental studies graduate, was honored on April 14, 2023, in the Student Union Ballroom with the Outstanding Master鈥檚 Thesis Award for the 2021-2022 academic year. He appeared virtually.

President's Research in Diversity Travel Assistance Program (PRDTA)

These conference travel awards will support our students who will be presenting papers, posters, or creative work at conferences related to issues of diversity or identity, such as those involving race, gender, ethnicity, sexual orientation, disability, and national origin.

The College of Education at UIUC is holding the 2023 Graduate Student Conference on March 3, 2023. We are reaching out to invite the graduate students to share their work on the impact of Covid 19 on technology development,  innovations, and implementation.  As most of the schools turned to virtual learning during the covid-19 pandemic, we had to rely on technology for school and work.  Students are welcome to share their work related to technology innovation and students鈥� learning or any other related work at the conference.

The University of 缅北禁地 Springfield will hold a virtual Graduate School Week Sept. 26-30, 2022. The week will give students who are thinking about earning a master鈥檚 degree a chance to learn more about UIS鈥� 44 graduate degrees.

University of 缅北禁地 Springfield online political science graduate student Isaac Farhadian has received a Fulbright Teachers for Global Classrooms (TGC) Program award from the U.S. Department of State and the Fulbright Foreign Scholarship Board. He teaches government and economics at John H. Pitman High School in Turlock, California.

Fall 2022 census numbers show an increase in the number of students taking classes at the University of 缅北禁地 Springfield. After the first 10 days of classes, a total of 4,198 students are enrolled, up 6.4% from 3,944 students in fall 2021.
