The state budget proposed today by Gov. JB Pritzker would provide a 2.7 percent increase in state-appropriated general operating funds for the University of Ãå±±½ûµØ System, increasing the system’s general funds appropriation to $730.1 million for the coming fiscal year. The proposal represents a continuation of the vital reinvestment our state and Gov. Pritzker have made in recent years in public higher education.
Today, February 14, is the final day to register for March crowdfunding opportunities (Faculty and Staff Campaign and March 19-20 Day of Giving).
These are tremendous opportunities to raise funds and promote your unit, program, or project to our greater UIS community, including faculty and staff, alumni, and friends.
Our 2-Factor Authentication (2FA) partner, Duo, is reporting issues with SMS (text messaging) delivery of passcodes. Duo has identified the cause of the issue and is working to restore SMS service.
Duo Push notifications are not affected, and individuals are encouraged to utilize this option as it is the most secure and convenient while we wait for service to be restored.
