Greetings, Campus Community:

We are writing to inform you that the Tower 1 elevator in the Public Affairs Center (PAC) will be out of service indefinitely. We are currently awaiting the delivery of critical parts needed to complete the repairs necessary to restore elevator operation.

At this time, we do not have a firm timeline for the parts delivery and subsequent repair, but we will share a status update when we do.

We sincerely appreciate your patience and understanding as we work to repair and maintain our critical infrastructure.

Please be aware that Parking Lot E will be closed on Thursday, March  27, so that school children may safely enter the UIS Performing Arts Center for the Staley Class Acts performance, Pete the Cat.

Thank you!
