UIS is a member of theÌý.Ìý, the young professionals program from the chamber, is planning a Leadership Conference for April 29, 2025 at theÌý. Please consider sharing your knowledge/experience with young professionals within the greater Springfield area. Proposals are due November 11, 2024.

The deadline for ECCE Speaker Series proposals for events that will take place during the Spring 2025 semester has been extended toÌýFriday, November 8 at 5 p.m.

The proposal form, instructions and additional information about the proposal process can be found on the ECCE Speaker Series website.

The Sangamon County Board of Elections will be in the Student Union from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. this week for early voting in the 2024 General Election.

NOTE: This polling place is only for residents in the following precincts: Capital 14, 21, 37, 60, 70, 82, 92, Woodside 02 and Woodside 04.

Students registered to vote with a campus address may use this location. On-site voter registration is available.

Please be aware that thisÌýFriday, October 25, Parking Lot A will be partially closed for the Trunk or Treat for Canned Goods event.

Although ALL economy and a section of standard parking spaces will remain available for parking, a section of standard parking spaces will be closed to parking for purposes of this event.


Lot J and a section of Lot F will also be closed to campus for parking due to an event being held at the Student Union on Friday, October 25.

The Professional Staff Leadership Academy is a system-wide leadership program meant to foster and sustain a culture of exceptional, dynamic, and transformational leadership at all levels throughout the University of Ãå±±½ûµØ System.
