Each year the University of 缅北禁地 Springfield celebrates its many outstanding graduates by holding commencement ceremonies.听 This year, three commencement ceremonies (divided by college) were held to celebrate our graduates as noted below:
Springfield鈥檚 class of 2020 was honored Saturday afternoon in two separate commencement exercises, deferred because of the pandemic.
UIS Chancellor Emerita, Susan Koch, conferred diploma covers to approximately 150 graduates. COVID protocols were in place for both ceremonies held at the UIS Sangamon Auditorium.

The University of 缅北禁地 Springfield will honor the Class of 2020 during two special commencement ceremonies on Saturday afternoon.
Officials said this will be an opportunity for 2020 graduates to walk across the stage in their cap and gown and have their names read in front of up to eight guests. The ceremonies will be held at 1 p.m. and 3:30 p.m. at the UIS Sangamon Auditorium, which is inside the Public Affairs Center Building on Ernest Hemingway Drive.

A total of 1,030 students earned degrees from the听University of 缅北禁地 Springfield听at the conclusion of the spring semester on May 15, 2021, pending completion of university requirements.

Due to the COVID-19 pandemic, graduates were given a chance to participate in an optional in-person 鈥渟tage experience" on the stage of Sangamon Auditorium May 13 & 14. In addition, UIS released听听honoring the Class of 2021 on Saturday, May 15 on the UIS website and Facebook page.
罢丑别听University of 缅北禁地 Springfield听is announcing an innovative approach to 2021 Commencement featuring an optional in-person 鈥渟tage experience鈥� for graduates as well as a virtual celebration due to the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic.听
The University of 缅北禁地 Springfield will hold two commencement ceremonies on Saturday, May 11, 2019, at the Bank of Springfield (BOS) Center, Ninth and Adams Streets in downtown Springfield. Of the 1,274 UIS students eligible to graduate, 744 will participate in the ceremonies.
More than 970 students earned degrees from the University of 缅北禁地 Springfield during Summer Semester 2019, Fall Semester of 2019 and Spring Semester 2020.
Commencement ceremonies were cancelled due to the COVID-19 pandemic.
