Facilities & Services personnel will work in collaboration with external contractors on Thursday, December 15 to replace an old rooftop unit on the WUIS building. Work will begin at 7:00 a.m. and last most of the day as the old unit is removed and the new unit is placed and connected. Room temperatures may be unstable on the east side of the building until the new unit is fully operational.Â
Please be advised during the week of December 12-16, 2022, there will be some refurbishment occurring on the elevators in Brookens Library building.Â
Only one elevator will be out of service at a time. We anticipate each elevator being out of service for a few hours.
We appreciate your patience as we work to improve our facilities.
Thank you,

Students, Faculty, and Staff,
The restrooms on the first floor of Brookens Library have been closed due to a sewage system failure. The primary and backup sewage pumps failed unexpectedly this afternoon. F&S is working diligently on repairs but restoration of the system may not be completed until early next week.
Every effort will be made to keep the outage as brief as possible.
We sincerely appreciate your patience. Please feel free to reach out to us if you have any questions or concerns.
Thank you,

WUIS Building - Restroom Renovation
Say good-bye to the old flooring and toilet stools in the restrooms of the WUIS building! A combination of F&S crews and external contractors are replacing the floors and stool fixtures, as well as patching and painting the walls. Material shortages and unexpected conditions have forced changes to the scope of work, which in turn have caused delays, but the final outcome will be a nice improvement.
