HyFlex Teaching Workshop
The HyFlex (hybrid flexible) learning model is both a teaching format that bridges and blends the physical and digital classrooms and the pedagogy that informs the design of HyFlex learning. This session will cover:
- Pedagogical overview of HyFlex
- Instructional strategies
- Planning a HyFlex course session

UIS-CSI: Crime Scene Institute
Registration is open!
High School students learn to investigate a crime scene utilizing the Residential Simulation Lab at UIS. The Criminology, Chemistry and Child Advocacy Studies programs will collaborate to create an experiential crime scene, utilizing interviewing skills and problem-based learning.
When: July 7 & 8, 9:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. (students can arrive as early as 8am and be picked up by 4pm).
Fundraising for Small Nonprofits
Frustrated with your current approach to fundraising? Wondering what you can do differently on a tight budget? Curious about other fundraising strategies you could try? This session will answer all those questions and more. We'll discuss the most effective fundraising strategies and ways to improve what you're already doing. Your take-aways will include the wisdom gleaned from your peers as well as a list of resources to explore on your own.
