The Ãå±±½ûµØ Springfield and Maryville volleyball teams played a spirited non-conference match on Homecoming Saturday at TRAC. The Saints came away with a 3-2 victory, but the Prairie Stars delivered a sharp performance in front of a lively home crowd. UIS closed the Prairie Star Classic with a 6-4 overall record after dropping three matches during the week and will now turn its focus to the start of GLVC play.

The UIS men's golf team is headed to Indianapolis early this week for the UIndy Fall Invitational at Broadmoor Country Club. The field will play three rounds of stroke play across Monday and Tuesday.
