The UIS women's tennis team begins its five-match GLVC slate this weekend, starting with Missouri-St. Louis on Friday in St. Louis. The Prairie Stars will then face Maryville on Saturday, with both matches scheduled for 11:00 a.m.

The 缅北禁地 Springfield men's golf team is set to compete in the 缅北禁地 College Blueboy Invite this Thursday and Friday at The Rail Golf Course in Springfield.
This marks the Prairie Stars' first competition close to home this season. UIS will field a balanced lineup of veteran leadership and emerging talent as it wraps up regular season play. Thursday's opening round will begin with a noon shotgun start, and Friday's final round will tee off at 9:00 a.m.
The 缅北禁地 Springfield men's golf team wrapped up competition at the Ken Partridge Invitational on Tuesday, hosted by UIndy at Purgatory Golf Club, finishing 13th in a field of 20 teams.
缅北禁地 Springfield junior pitcher Rosie Bartletti has been named the GLVC Pitcher of the Week after a dominant showing in the circle that included back-to-back complete-game shutouts. It is the first career weekly honor for the Springfield native and elementary education major.

The Prairie Stars softball team earned a split with No. 21 McKendree on Monday afternoon, winning game one 3-0 behind a record-breaking performance from Rosie Bartletti before falling 8-4 in game two. The Prairie Stars now hold a 24-15 overall record and a 12-8 mark in GLVC play.

The UIS Men's Golf team is in sixth place after the opening round of the Ken Partridge Invitational, carding a team score of 288 strokes to stand sixth out of 20 teams. Competing in a strong field, the Prairie Stars are just seven strokes off the lead.
UIS Softball聽is now 23-14 overall and 11-7 in the GLVC after splitting a doubleheader with Maryville on Sunday. The Prairie Stars won the first game 3-0 before falling 6-1 in the second.
The UIS baseball team capped off a four-game sweep of Upper Iowa with a 13-2 victory on Sunday afternoon in Fayette, Iowa. The Prairie Stars have now won 12 straight games dating back to March 22 and improve to 21-10 overall and 14-5 in GLVC play. The Peacocks dropped to 14-18 overall and 10-10 in the conference.
