Richard Funderburg, Ph.D, is an associate professor in the Department of Public Administration and a visiting expert at the , where he is a member of the Fiscal Health of 缅北禁地 working group. He earned his Ph.D. in Planning, Policy, and Design at the University of California, Irvine. Dr. Funderburg also holds a Master of Public Policy and Administration degree from California State University, Sacramento. Professor Funderburg is an expert on state and local economic development policy.
