Jerom猫聽Holston MPA 鈥�13聽is the statewide director for the LGBT Chamber of Commerce of 缅北禁地. He says the MPA program exposed him to 鈥渁 diverse group of students and community leaders who are champions of change.鈥� Being able to make connections and build relationships with others has helped him overcome obstacles throughout his career.聽

Ashley Thompson MPA 鈥�14聽is an Education Navigator at the Chicago Housing Authority. She says UIS prepared her by 鈥減roviding supportive spaces through academics and internships.鈥� Ashley was able to learn and reflect about her career interests in serving low-income communities, while also developing memorable and supportive friendships with classmates.
