University of 缅北禁地 Springfield English Instructor Jennifer Whalen鈥檚 first book of poems has been selected by the poet Rick Barot for the 2022 Lightscatter Press Prize. Her book, 鈥淓veningful,鈥� will be available for purchase in spring 2024.

Whalen is a poet and educator from the Northern Kentucky/Cincinnati, Ohio area. Her poems have been published in Gulf Coast, Denver Quarterly, Southern Indiana Review, New South, Glass: A Journal for Poetry, The Boiler, Grist and elsewhere.

Thank you for submitting your Intent to Participate form. You鈥檝e officially notified us that you plan to attend Commencement! The last step in the process is to order your regalia. All students participating in Commencement must wear a black cap and gown (known as regalia).

Purchase by April 3

Dear Faculty and Staff:

The UHB elevator near the women鈥檚 restroom is out of service for the immediate future. Parts have been ordered to complete the repairs needed to return the elevator to service. Unfortunately, the supplier is not able to give us a firm delivery date yet for those parts. Once we know more, we will share an update.

Please use the 2nd elevator around the corner in the interim.

On Wednesday, March 22 all enrolled students received an e-mail link to a survey from Chancellor Gooch.
