Students graduating in Summer 2023 or Fall 2023 must submit an online Graduation Application via Student Self-Service (https://apps.uillinois.edu/ - 鈥淕raduation鈥� tab) by July 3, 2023 (Summer 2023) or October 2, 2023 (Fall 2023).聽Students MUST be sure to verify that all curriculum information is listed accurately BEFORE submitting an online Graduation Application (including major, minor, concentration, etc.).聽

Nine Civil Service employees have submitted nomination forms and are appearing on this year鈥檚 ballot as candidates for seven open positions:

Mariam Ndow of Serekunda, The Gambia, a 2022 graduate of Marina International School, has been admitted to the University of 缅北禁地 Springfield for Fall Semester 2023 and awarded a $32,000 Lincoln Merit Scholarship for tuition over four years. At UIS, she will major in biochemistry. 聽

The scholarship is awarded based on high school GPA and can be renewed for a total of four years if the student maintains college GPA requirements.

The University of 缅北禁地 Springfield and Innovate Springfield will host a 鈥淪hark Tank鈥� style pitch night where aspiring local entrepreneurs will pitch their ideas to investors.

The event will be held from 5-6 p.m. Thursday, June 15 at Innovate Springfield, located on the second floor of 15 S. Old State Capitol Plaza, Springfield.
