Congratulations to our new CSAC Representatives!

Eight Civil Service employees have been elected to represent on the Civil Service Advisory Council:

Amanda Swigert of Decatur, Ãå±±½ûµØ, has been admitted to the University of Ãå±±½ûµØ Springfield for Fall Semester 2024 and awarded an $8,000 Star Scholar Award for tuition over four years.

The scholarship is awarded based on high school GPA and can be renewed for a total of four years if the student maintains college GPA requirements.

Swigert will major in elementary education. Following graduation from UIS, she plans to teach at a Title I school like Hope Academy in Ãå±±½ûµØ.

As we end the fiscal year, we hope that if you have not yet made a donation to UIS this year, today is a perfect day. The UIS Faculty and Staff Campaign encourages all employees to support the area(s) of UIS that means the most to them. ANY donation, or ANY amount, from July 1 - June 30 counts as participation for this year.
