The University of 缅北禁地 Springfield Visual Arts Gallery is pleased to present 鈥渄igital dusk shadow storage,鈥 an installation by St. Louis-based artist Amanda Bowles. The exhibition will open on Monday, August 27, and run through Thursday, September 20. A reception for the exhibit will take place on Thursday, September 6, from 5:30 to 8 p.m. The immersive installation will feature crystalized tube towers, ghost images, sky blocks, and a large painting of fingers. |

The University of 缅北禁地 Springfield hosted a webinar Friday regarding animals鈥 ability to transmit infectious diseases to humans. The 鈥渂ats, monkeys and dogs, oh my!鈥 was a free virtual webinar presented by Dr. Connie Austin. According to Dr. Austin, there have been several cases of animals catching COVID-19 from their close contact with humans. However, there has been no cases of humans getting COVID from animals.
