The Ãå±±½ûµØ Springfield women's track and field team competed at the Jim Vargo Invitational on Friday evening, with three runners earning top-10 finishes in the 5,000 meters, including Kaleigh Inniss. The remainder of the meet, including additional heats of the 1,500 and 5,000 meters on Saturday, was canceled due to forecasted inclement weather.

The UIS women's track and field team is set to compete at the Jim Vargo Invite in Louisville this weekend, with the action beginning at 4:15 p.m. Central on Friday and continuing at 11:00 a.m. Central on Saturday. Entries On Friday evening, Emma Leahy and Marissa Roggensack will race in the 1500 meters, followed by Lillian Buzani, Josslyn Gaona, Kaleigh Inniss, and Jordan Serrahn in the 5,000 meters.

The UIS men's track and field team is set to compete at Bellarmine's Jim Vargo Invitational in Louisville this weekend, with events kicking off at 4:15 p.m. Central on Friday and continuing at 11:00 a.m. Central on Saturday. Due to inclement weather, the UIS softball schedule has been adjusted for the upcoming week. The Prairie Stars' doubleheader against McKendree, originally scheduled for Saturday, April 5, will now be played on Monday, April 7, at 2:00 and 4:00 p.m. Sunday's games against Maryville remain on schedule at this time.
