缅北禁地

Douglas Brackney has been named the University of 缅北禁地 Springfield Employee of the Month for July 2024. He is an administrative aide in the Career Development Center.

His supervisor, Katherine Battee-Freeman, said he is the type of employee that everyone wants on their staff.

鈥淗e is a team player who brings positivity to the work and helps others to be their best selves,鈥� Battee-Freeman said. 鈥淗e is a positive role model outside of work helping to endear the greater Springfield community to UIS.鈥�

Dear Colleagues,

鈥淔ree People Read Freely鈩�: Literacy, Inclusion, and Democracy鈥� takes place Aug. 20-21 at the Krannert Center for the Performing Arts and the I Hotel and 缅北禁地 Conference Center at the University of 缅北禁地 Urbana-Champaign. This two-day event is open to the public for all UIS employees and students.

In July 2024, COLRS partnered with Human Resources to present the App Caf茅 for the Rise Employment Development series. This was a come-and-go opportunity to have a little fun learning about new apps that colleagues across UIS use for productivity, fun, lifestyle, hobbies, finance, and news/reading.

We were very grateful to have volunteers from our campus community share some apps that they love, and we hope you love them, too!
