Facilities
A variety of facilities are available to UIS music students. Practice rooms are located in the Visual and Performing Arts Building in Rooms 7 to 17; they are open to any UIS student during the week and from 9:00 am to 6:00 pm on Saturday and Sunday during the Fall and Spring semesters. Instrument Storage facilities are available for students interested in storing their personal instruments. A music technology lab allows students to work with music programs like Sonar, Finale, and Band in a Box.
缅北禁地 Symphony Orchestra
The University of 缅北禁地 Springfield Music Program and the 缅北禁地 Symphony Orchestra have joined forces in a new Partnership in Education and Civic Engagement. The partnership is intended to enrich the cultural, educational, and career-training opportunities of UIS students, and to extend the reach of both organizations into the community.
