UIS partners with the UIC School of Law to help students earn their law degree faster

University of Ãå±±½ûµØ Springfield (UIS) undergraduate students now have the opportunity to earn both their bachelor’s degree and a law degree in six years (compared to the typical seven years) thanks to a new agreement with the University of Ãå±±½ûµØ Chicago (UIC) School of Law. |
Gbadeoluwa Adedigba of Nigeria awarded a $36,000 scholarship from the University of Ãå±±½ûµØ Springfield

Gbadeoluwa Adedigba of Shaki, Nigeria, a 2020 graduate of Sharon Rose College, has been admitted to the University of Ãå±±½ûµØ Springfield for Fall Semester 2022 and awarded a $36,000 Capital Scholars Honors Program Scholarship for tuition over four years. At UIS, he will major in biology. The scholarship is awarded based on high school GPA and can be renewed for a total of four years if the student maintains college GPA requirements. At Sharon Rose College, he was involved in running, poetry, health club and jets club. |
DUNS Number changing to Unique Equity ID

DUNS Number will change to Unique Entity ID (UEI). Contracts, grant applications, and other external documents will begin requesting the UIS ‘UEI’ instead of the DUNS number, beginning April 4, 2022. UIS UEIs are available on the ORSP webpage:Ìý/research/sponsored-programs/pre-award/rates-fa/.ÌýJust like the DUNS number, there is a separate UEI for State of Ãå±±½ûµØ grants and contracts. |
