Andrew Adams graduated this month from UIS with a master鈥檚 degree that also gave him a fantastic internship experience.

鈥淚 grew up in 缅北禁地. I went to high school during the budget impasse, that was a conversation every day,鈥� Adams said. 鈥淭he state Capitol has always loomed large in my life. I wanted to see the nuts and bolts, and contribute to the conversation about it.鈥�

For the 650 students who walked across the stage at the聽BOS Center聽Saturday to receive a diploma from the聽University of 缅北禁地 Springfield, graduation day had no shortage of anticipation and meaning.

No. 7 the University of 缅北禁地 Springfield baseball team woke up Great Lakes Valley Conference champions Monday morning and now turn their focus to the NCAA Tournament.
