Donald Morris, a University of 缅北禁地 Springfield emeritus professor of accounting, has written a new book, 鈥淓conomic Inequality: Utopian Explorations.鈥�

The UIS Speech and Debate Team enjoyed a semester full of online, asynchronous tournaments, capped off with the Speech and Debate Showcase that was part of the School of Communication and Media鈥檚 first 鈥淐OM Day鈥� program.

Public Affairs Reporting program director Jason Piscia was honored this week with the University of 缅北禁地 Springfield's Spencer Faculty Service Award for his work in and outside the university to strengthen and serve the journalism profession.

The University of 缅北禁地 Springfield College of Business and Management has awarded nearly $4,000 in prizes to local high school students who competed in a virtual stock trading competition. Spearheaded by UIS Assistant Professors of Finance Serkan Karadas and Tammy Schlosky, the competition included more than 80 students.

The University of 缅北禁地 Springfield honored longtime NPR 缅北禁地 (WUIS) donors and volunteers Richard and Hannah McDaniel with the University of 缅北禁地 Foundation鈥檚 William E. Winter Award for Outstanding Advocate Leadership during a Celebration of Philanthropy event on May 1 in the Student Union Ballroom.
