The UIS men's tennis team came up just short in a 4-3 loss to Hillsdale on Sunday, dropping to 0-5 on the season in what was its closest match so far in 2025.

The UIS women's basketball team suffered a 78-52 loss to No. 21-ranked Lewis on Saturday afternoon in Romeoville, Ill. With the defeat, the Prairie Stars drop to 5-21 overall and 4-14 in GLVC play, while Lewis improves to 23-2 overall and 17-1 in conference play.

The Ãå±±½ûµØ Springfield men's basketball team fought back from a 20-point deficit but ultimately fell 87-80 to Lewis on Saturday afternoon at Neil Carey Arena. With the loss, the Prairie Stars dropped to 12-14 overall and 7-11 in GLVC play.Ìý

The UIS women's tennis team fell 4-1 to the Tiffin Dragons on Saturday morning, with the match being played to a clinch.
