Open Studio Sessions

The Office of Strategic Communications will host two Open Photo Studio sessions for Spring 2025 for all staff or faculty. The photos can be used for university purposes such as department websites, campus directories, speaking engagements at conferences, etc. Any staff or faculty member who either hasn’t had their portrait taken or would like another, more recent, portrait taken is encouraged to attend. The Strategic Communications photo studio is in the Business Services Building, Room 95 (BSB 95). |

Madelyn Miller Earns USTFCCCA All-Region Honors in the 5K

UIS Track & Field juniorÌýMadelyn MillerÌýhas been named aÌýUSTFCCCA All-RegionÌýhonoree in theÌý5,000 metersÌýfor theÌý2025 NCAA Division II Indoor Track & Field season, as announced by theÌýU.S. Track & Field and Cross Country Coaches Association (USTFCCCA)Ìýon Tuesday.
Miller earned the recognition by finishing among theÌýtop five individuals in the Midwest RegionÌýin the event. She secured her spot with a school record time ofÌý16:37.46Ìýat theÌýGVSU Big MeetÌýonÌýFebruary 14, 2025.

Miller Earns Second Team All-America Honors with 10th-Place Finish at Nationals

Madelyn Miller, a junior on the UIS track & field team, secured Second Team All-America honors with a 10th-place finish in the 5,000-meter run at the NCAA Division II Indoor Track & Field Championships on Thursday, marking her first national championship appearance and earning All-America status in her debut.
Miller ran 16:38.16, finishing within a second of her personal best and edging out athletes from the University of Mary and Grand Valley State.
