Ella Brinkley's leadoff home run set the tone for the day as the UIS softball team triumphed in both games against Purdue Northwest at Spartan Sports Park. The Prairie Stars won the first game 4-2 and secured a 5-4 victory in the second.

Parking Lot Closures on Tues., March 4 - Lots E, F and J

Please be aware that on Tuesday, March 4, Parking Lot J and a section of Lot F will be closed to campus for parking due to an event being held at the Student Union. Parking Lot E will also be closed on Tuesday, March 4, so that school children may safely enter the UIS Performing Arts Center for the Staley Class Acts performance The Boy from Troy. On this date, please make sure to plan accordingly and utilize alternate parking lots authorized by your parking hang tag. Thank you! |
UIS Women’s Basketball Falls to William Jewell at Home

The Ãå±±½ûµØ Springfield women's basketball team dropped a 73-57 decision to William Jewell on Thursday evening at TRAC. The Prairie Stars (5-22, 4-15 GLVC) kept the game close through the first half, but struggled with consistency in the second half as the Cardinals (7-18, 5-14 GLVC) pulled away.
