Heating System Startup in Legacy Buildings

Greetings, Between October 20-24, Facilities will begin testing the heating systems in the legacy campus buildings to prepare for the colder months ahead. These tests will primarily take place in the early mornings to minimize any disruption to your day. As with starting a home furnace after a long break, you may notice a temporary odor when the systems are activated. This is a normal part of the process and should dissipate quickly. Prairie Stars Battle Through Rain-Shortened Dwight Davis College Open

The Ãå±±½ûµØ Springfield men's tennis team wrapped up its fall schedule at the Dwight Davis College Open in St. Louis, where weekend rain forced a compressed slate of play. After Saturday's matches were washed out, the Prairie Stars powered through a full day of singles and doubles competition on Sunday to close their fall season on a strong note.

UIS Leads at Bearcat Dual Gender Before Darkness Halts Play

The UIS women's golf team holds the top spot midway through the McKendree Bearcat Dual Gender at Far Oaks Golf Club, leading the field by five strokes when play was suspended in the second round Monday evening due to darkness.
The Prairie Stars posted a team score of 307 in the first round and had reached 187 strokes through 10-11 holes in Round Two before play was stopped. UIS sits at 494 strokes overall, ahead of Lewis (506) and host McKendree (513).
