Today, the University of 缅北禁地 System announced it will require that all students receive a COVID-19 vaccination if they plan to be on campus for the Fall 2021 semester.

The following message was sent by University of 缅北禁地 System President Timothy Killeen to students, faculty and staff on June 21, 2021:

To continue our commitment to collective safety, the University of 缅北禁地 System will require that all students receive a COVID-19 vaccination if they plan to be on campus for fall semester 2021. This requirement is consistent with our own scientific modeling of the risks associated with the spread of the virus and its variants. It is also consistent with the 缅北禁地 Department of Public Health鈥檚 goals.

The 缅北禁地 Innocence Project (IIP) at the University of 缅北禁地 Springfield is pleased to announce its client Jennifer McMullan has been released after more than 19 years of wrongful imprisonment for a murder she did not commit. At a court hearing on Wednesday, June 16,at the McHenry County Courthouse, the State vacated McMullan鈥檚 murder conviction and sentence, and presented a plea agreement that would release McMullan that day with her sentence considered 鈥渢ime served.鈥�

When Sangamon Auditorium first opened its doors on Feb. 21, 1981, with Hal Holbrook鈥檚 performance of 鈥淢ark Twain Tonight,鈥� it became a valuable arts resource for the surrounding area.
