Five members of the UIS men's golf team were banned Cobalt Golf All-America Scholars by the Golf Coaches Association of America (GCAA).
Tom Bumann, Daniel Edwards, Francesco Abba Jr., Alex Seibal, and Brady Wilson were all first-time honorees.

The UIS women's basketball program has announced the addition of Aubrey Staton as an assistant coach ahead of the 2024-25 season.聽
Staton is a former NCAA Division III student-athlete. The El Paso, Ill. native was a member of the Millikin women's basketball team from 2018 to 2022.聽

The National Fastpitch Coaches Association (NFCA) announced its Easton/NFCA All-America Scholar-Athletes on Tuesday. Fourteen members of the UIS softball team were recognized with national academic honors.
