At the University of 缅北禁地 Springfield, Alexa Redd is president of the Women of Color Initiative and a member of the Necessary Steps Mentoring Program and the National Society of Leadership and Success. She also is a student worker at the UIS Diversity Center. 鈥淲hen it comes to what I like the most about UIS, I adore how small the class sizes are,鈥� she said. 鈥淵ou really get the chance to connect with and understand your professors and peers.鈥� Following graduation from UIS, Redd hopes to work as a criminal profiler and apply what she鈥檚 learned at UIS toward philanthropy and activist work. She also plans to further her education with the goal of earning a doctorate degree.
