Albert Nimako plays on the University of 缅北禁地 Springfield men鈥檚 soccer team, interns as part of the Graduate Public Service Internship Program at the 缅北禁地 Department of Healthcare and Family Services and serves as an intramural referee for UIS Campus Recreation. Asked why he chose UIS, he said 鈥渁s in everything in my life, I want to be in a better position than others. Getting a master鈥檚, while getting firsthand experience with the state, will help me in many ways.鈥� He says he gets more out of classes at UIS due to the smaller class sizes. 鈥淵ou get help anywhere needed,鈥� he said. 鈥淏eing able to live on campus is a plus as well. Being closer to everything makes it easier to connect.鈥� Nimako plans to graduate from UIS in December 2022. Following graduation, he plans to enter the workforce.
