Hannah Baity chose the University of 缅北禁地 Springfield because it 鈥渁fforded me the best opportunities for the best price. I also thought the culture and campus were beautiful,鈥� they said. On campus, Baity works as a resident assistant for UIS Residence Life and is a member of Leadership for Life. They are a mentor for the LGBTQIA+ Peer Mentor Program and part of the speech team. 鈥淢y favorite thing about UIS is the people,鈥� Baity said. 鈥淢ost people on campus are incredibly kind, funny and genuine.鈥� Following graduation, they plan to attend law school, hoping to eventually have a career in politics and social justice.
