Diana Ibarra chose the University of 缅北禁地 Springfield because of its 鈥渃lose proximity to the capitol and affordable price.鈥� On campus, she is a co-head delegate for Model 缅北禁地 Government, a member of the Necessary Steps Mentoring Program, Pi Sigma Alpha Political Science Honor Society and Phi Alpha Delta Law Fraternity. She is also a Spanish language case translator and policy tracker for the 缅北禁地 Innocence Project at UIS. 鈥淲hat I like most about UIS is how excellent and engaging the professors are in both departments I am in,鈥� she said. 鈥淭hey challenge me in ways that have been enriching.鈥� Following graduation from UIS, she plans to attend law school and study international law.
