Dear Colleagues -
November is here, which means we are in the home stretch of the fall semester. It has been a truly incredible semester filled with student life programming, athletics, classroom activities and more. Shows have returned to the Sangamon Auditorium and the Studio Theatre, and safety protocols are working exceptionally smoothly. Spring 2022 course registration goes live today. There are so many things to be proud of!

UIS Education Honor Society inducts 11 new members
The Alpha Alpha Gamma chapter of Kappa Delta Pi, the International Honor Society in Education, at the University of 缅北禁地 Springfield inducted 11 new members during a ceremony in the Studio Union on Sunday, Oct. 17. Dustin Day, superintendent at Carthage Elementary School District #317, was the guest speaker.

UIS to offer 18 accelerated courses starting Dec. 13 to help students continue their educational goals
The University of 缅北禁地 Springfield will offer 18 accelerated five-week online courses for prospective and current students. All classes will begin Monday, Dec. 13, 2021, and will conclude Saturday, Jan. 15, 2022.
鈥淢any students have extra time over the holiday break, and this is a great chance for them to continue their education and potentially earn a degree in a shorter period of time,鈥 said UIS Interim Chancellor Karen Whitney.
