Ten University of Ãå±±½ûµØ Springfield students will present their work at the 2021 Council of Public Liberal Arts Colleges (COPLAC) Midwest/West Regional Undergraduate Research, Scholarly and Creative Activity Virtual Conference from 11 a.m. – 1:30 p.m. Saturday, Nov. 13.

Common App switch brings in more UIS applicants
Future college students can now apply to all Ãå±±½ûµØâ€™ public universities with just one application.
A simple check of a box will send applications to 900 schools throughout the state.
The University of Ãå±±½ûµØ Springfield (UIS) joined the Common App in September before Governor Pritzker’s announced all public universities in Ãå±±½ûµØ would join the program.
Making the switch has already increased the number of freshmen applications the school has received, and more are expected.
