UIS to send Cricket Club to national competition

"The University of 缅北禁地 Springfield Cricket Club will get the opportunity to compete nationally in March.
The team will compete against 24 other college and university teams from around the country at the National College Cricket Association (NCCA) nationals March 16-19 in Houston, Texas.
UIS to offer more than 50 accelerated courses starting March 20

"The University of 缅北禁地 Springfield is adding over 50 additional accelerated courses for it's students, beginning in March.
The courses will be available in a variety of formats, including online and on-campus, for prospective and current students.
All classes will begin Monday, March 20, and will conclude in May."
Chancellor Gooch: UIS expanding ways students can learn beyond classrooms

Gooch, who was formally invested as chancellor during a ceremony at Sangamon Auditorium Wednesday, said she has challenged UIS to expand ways students can learn beyond the classroom, including through civic engagement.
UIS students and staff host Black History Month kick off event

The theme for Black History Month on campus at 2023 is "Looking back and moving forward." School leaders and organizers say events like this help students learn in all elements of their lives.
