Items discussed in the Chancellor’s Cabinet meeting included completion of the campus listening sessions; de-escalation training for faculty and staff; the onboarding process for new vice chancellors and deans; the establishment of a steering committee for the Title III grant proposal to strengthen institutions; and the multiple professional development services provided by Academic Impressions.
UIS to hold an online panel discussion on ranked choice voting in Ãå±±½ûµØ
WHAT: The University of Ãå±±½ûµØ Springfield Center for State Policy and Leadership and School of Public Management and Policy will host an online panel discussion on ranked choice voting in Ãå±±½ûµØ. This event is free and open to the public, however registration is required.

Everything you wanted to know about Ranked-Choice Voting (and maybe somethings you didn’t)
In recent months, there has been increased news coverage of ranked-choice voting (RCV) in Ãå±±½ûµØ. Two events help explain this coverage. First, the City of Evanston became the first city in Ãå±±½ûµØ to adopt RCV for all voters in the city (as opposed to only for those deployed as part of the military) following a referendum where approximately 82% of voters supported RCV.
