Colton Kern of Williamsville awarded a $24,000 scholarship from the University of Ăĺ±±˝űµŘ Springfield
Colton Kern of Williamsville, a senior at Williamsville High School, has been admitted to the University of Ăĺ±±˝űµŘ Springfield for Fall Semester 2023 and awarded a $24,000 Lincoln Merit Scholarship for tuition over four years. At UIS, he will major in computer science.
The scholarship is awarded based on high school GPA and can be renewed for a total of four years if the student maintains college GPA requirements.

We are certainly in our “busy season” at UIS, with lots of exciting end-of-term activities, Springfest and final steps with most of our administrative searches. Last week was our annual STARS Symposium; I am so sorry I wasn’t on campus to attend but heard it was a great event. Congratulations to all involved!
