University Property Accounting and Reporting (UPAR) is excited to announce a new feature in the Biennial Inventory (BI) application. The new Mass Update tool will be available to Biennial users with the role of Unit Contact and Unit Specialist.

UIS interim Provost Linda Delene has informed me of her decision to resign from her position, and I have accepted it, effective immediately. I thank Dr. Delene for her service to our university.
As you know, we are in the final stages of our search for our permanent provost. I will announce an interim plan soon.

Michele Sapp named the UIS Employee of the Month for April 2023
Michele Sapp has been named the University of Ãå±±½ûµØ Springfield Employee of the Month for April 2023. She is a business manager for the Center for State Policy and Leadership (CSPL) Office of the Executive Director.
Her nominator said she shows leadership in her helpful approach and makes herself available to colleagues, supervisors and internal and external partners. She is also a problem solver.
