UIS launches institute for race, gender, sexuality and social justice

"A new Institute that will address diversity, equity, inclusion and justice issues across central 缅北禁地 is in the works on the campus of the University of 缅北禁地 Springfield.
The institute will offer academic programs that focus on Race, Gender, Sexuality and Social Justice in the fall.
Study cannabis in college

"The University of 缅北禁地 Springfield is going to pot.
The capital city's state university has partnered with the online marijuana educator Green Flower to offer a certificate program for students interested in entering management within the cannabis industry.
The program, which began in 2020, is geared toward fostering economic development within central 缅北禁地, said Robert Kerr, director of continuing and professional education at UIS."
End of affirmative action won't alter operations for some 缅北禁地 colleges
The following story was reported by WICS-TV 20 on June 26, 2023.
"The University of 缅北禁地 Springfield said in a statement that they will 鈥渞eview our policies to make sure they are in alignment with state and federal law. Regardless of the outcome, UIS will remain committed to serving students of all races, genders, and ethnicities."
