Gutierrez says he chose the UIS MS in Finance program because of the excellent reputation of UIS and that the program was entirely online and affordable. He advises future online students to do their work early in the week, as "competing priority can arise as the week progresses, making it difficult to dedicate adequate time to your studies."

Mike Hermann to serve as new UIS director of athletics
Mike Hermann will serve as the new director of athletics at the University of Ãå±±½ûµØ Springfield effective June 17. His official title will be director of athletics-designate until approval by the U of I Board of Trustees. He is currently in his third year as the Senior Associate Director of Athletics for External Operations at the University of the Pacific, an NCAA Division I program in Stockton, California.
