        <a  href="/news/hometown/braidyn-phinney-awarded-12000-scholarship-attend-university-illinois-springfield">Braidyn  Phinney  awarded  a  $12,000  scholarship  to  attend  the  University  of  缅北禁地  Springfield</a>

        <div  class="newsletter-txt">Braidyn  Phinney  of  Ottawa,  缅北禁地,  has  been  admitted  to  the  University  of  缅北禁地  Springfield  for  the  fall  semester  of  2025  and  awarded  a  $12,000  Star  Scholar  Award  for  tuition  over  four  years.  At  UIS,  he  will  major  in  computer  science.



The  scholarship  is  awarded  based  on  high  school  GPA  and  can  be  renewed  if  the  student  maintains  college  GPA  requirements.



In  high  school,  he  was  involved  in  the  chess  club  and  Dungeons  and  Dragons  club.</div>

        <div  class="newsletter-txt">The  UIS  men's  track  and  field  team  will  send  a  trio  of  athletes  to  the  IC  Hilltop  Classic  at  缅北禁地  College  in  Jacksonville,  Ill.  on  Friday,  marking  the  final  meet  of  the  regular  season.  The  event  serves  as  the  last  opportunity  for  Prairie  Stars  to  qualify  for  the  GLVC  Indoor  Track  and  Field  Championships.
